Marya Fowler, Senior Education Outreach Manager with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) will be presenting "Creating and Sustaining Wildlife Habitat" on Thursday,January 26th

Prior to joining the National Wildlife Federation NWF, Marya taught for several years at the secondary level.

She earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Planning/Landscape Design and worked in the field of landscape design, creating restoration management plans. As Senior Education Manager for NWF’s South Central Region, Marya focuses on the advancement of NWF’s K-12 school-based programming,including Eco-Schools USA and Schoolyard Habitats, with an emphasis on integrating these programs at the state/school district levels and promoting environmental education to improve student academic performance.

Marya also manages NWF’s Gardening for Wildlife Program for the region.
